Double degrees
Through its original pedagogical project, ENSAE is close to engineering schools (it is itself an engineering school), to business schools (through its themes related to economic and financial decision-making), and to the ENS (through its proximity to research). Given the unique nature of its scientific positioning, ENSAE has strong complementarities with these schools. By extending their curriculum by one year, students from both schools can broaden their skills in hybrid courses or enter related fields of specialization. This diversification of skills meets the growing needs of the economy.
ENSAE Paris has signed double degree agreements with the three leading Parisian business schools (HEC, ESSEC, ESCP Europe), Sciences Po, the Écoles Normales Supérieures (ENS Ulm, ENS Lyon, ENS Paris-Saclay), and certain engineering schools (CentraleSupélec, Télécom Paris, AgroParisTech, ENSAI...).
In general, the School and its partners are careful to admit students to these double-degree programs whose educational plans are coherent in terms of skills acquisition and professional objectives, and whose academic level in their school of origin is excellent. In particular, ENSAE is attentive to the background in applied mathematics of candidates from predominantly economic programs, and conversely to the genuine interest of candidates from scientific backgrounds in the school's fields of application.
