THE Rankings: IP Paris ranks 6th in THE Young University Rankings 2022
For its first entry, the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) ranks 6th in the Times Higher Education's 2022 Young Universities ranking of the world's best institutions 50 years old or younger.
Since its creation in 2019, IP Paris, thanks to the expertise and reputation of its five founding engineering schools: École polytechnique, ENSTA Paris, ENSAE Paris, Télécom Paris, Télécom SudParis, has worked to embody the excellence of French education and research.
In just three years, and thanks to the efforts of the entire IP Paris community, the institute has established itself as one of the fastest growing science and technology institutions in Europe. Thanks to the creation of interdisciplinary centers (for AI & Data Analytics and the Environment) and partnerships with private and public players in sectors such as Health or Intense Lasers and on cutting-edge technologies, but also thanks to its international influence (ranked 43rd in THE Most International Universities), IP Paris continues to flourish for the excellence of its teaching and research.
Its multidisciplinary academic and research programs are supported by more than 1,000 faculty members in ten disciplinary departments. The Institute also offers a variety of academic programs: Bachelor's, Engineering, Master's, Doctoral and PhD tracks (learn more).
Last year, IP Paris reached another milestone with an increase in applications from students around the world, despite the health situation. "IP Paris has a very diverse international community with an excellent scientific research environment. Campus life is rich and inclusive with activities involving students from all 5 schools," testifies Augustus Chukwu, a PhD Track mechanics student. Adame Ben Friha, a Master 2 Data Science student, says that "the quality of the courses is unique, with specialists from 5 recognized engineering schools, which means that we work with the best of the best!
In 2022, IP Paris will continue to move forward to strengthen its commitment to innovation and leadership in research and teaching to advance science and technology as a world-class institute ready to work and find solutions to the world's challenges.
