The Institut Polytechnique de Paris and its five member schools (École polytechnique, ENSTA Paris, ENSAE Paris, Télécom Paris and Télécom SudParis) have been working since its creation in 2019 to position itself as a key player in international science and technology education and research.
To support its worldwide influence, the Institute has set up the International Scientific Committee (ISAB), an advisory body made up of eminent scientists that assists IP Paris in its reflection on the major orientations of its international scientific strategy.
In terms of scientific publications in collaboration with foreign researchers, IP Paris is in the Top 40 of THE 2022 ranking.
The Institute is also pursuing its strategy of international partnerships. It recently joined the Cesaer network, which brings together science and technology universities in Europe, representing a total of more than one million students.
Last year, IP Paris welcomed 40% of international students from 88 countries around the world (Top 20 of THE 2022 ranking), a notable performance in a context where international travel has been impacted by the Covid-19 health crisis.
The Times Higher Education (THE) ranking of the most international universities, which lists 193 universities, measures the share of international staff, students and co-authors at institutions, as well as their international reputation.
